i forgot to ask, bunnie, how big and what kind are your bristlenose? i have one albino in each tank now but i'd love to have a regular or two in each tank as well.
also if anyone wants a very nice looking 6" common pleco i'd gladly give him to you. he doesn't eat algae but he loves terrestrial vegetables.

I just let it grow. Just clean the front of the tank and let the rest grow

But you have those oretty white rocks, so itmakes sense you want to see them! ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) My biggest BN are about 2-3 inches... I will have several of those at the swap next month. I good rule of thumb for BN is one per 10 gallons at a juvinile size and one per 20 gallons at full size. With Africans, it's probably a good idea to avoid the long fin type, and I would stay with albino if I were you just because they can blend a little better on the white rocks, so they'll feel safer.

I don't like the long fin type anyway. Are yours albino? Also, what price for that size?

so its been about a month. turning my lights down from 12 hours a day to 6 hours a day has made all the difference in the world. i still have growth on my rocks on the sides that face my window but its much much slower. i think with a few hungry bristlenose i could extend that even longer.
