I would find one on CL. What are you going to do for filtration? There are a lot of other expensive things to consider other than tank. It is not a cheap hobby. I would hold off, save change and find a decent used tank.

thank you for all your help i would like t glass or acrylic for now cause its more time efficient. but after reading these posts it almost seems some of you are offended by plywood aquariums. im interested in doing one because i am compleley a diy kinda guy all my filtration systems are more than professional and i built every one. nothing personal but i think it would be rewarding to build a plywood aquarium and i would not attemp said aquarium without fully thinking it threw ever nook and cranny. i dont half ass anything.

I don't think anyone is offended. Most are just more concerned. I personally do not think you can build a tank that small for less than you can buy a glass one. Unless you already have every tool and the supplies it will cost you a lot more than $200. Most people that build them have them in a garage and have a viewing window in the wall.
You really need To know what you are doing on the coating so if you want to build it just study up and go for it. Could be a fun project. But I do not think it will end up much cheaper.

You said that you have to have a 75g soon and local fish store is to expensive. You said plywood tank would be cheaper and that no one in your area has a tank for sale. I don't care how you do it, but you asked for help, we tried to help. If the epoxy coating is too expensive and you want to do this, use silicone, it won't work but that is what you want to hear.
