If you plan to go and meet as a group leave name and email and we will coordinate. The 2009 Annual Convention will be held in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 30-August 2, 2009. www.2009aca.com/Hotel- Sheraton Cincinnati North Hotel- $105 per night I won't be going until Friday to Friday night. Speakers- Ad Konings, Chuck Rambo, Hans Koops, Michi Tobler, Paul Loiselle, Spencer Jack, Wayne Leibel Workshops- Gary Lange (fish Photography), Stephen Tanner (poret foam, best filter media in my opinion) To Participate you have to be an ACA member($25) and pay $40. But you don't have to do any of that and you can still take part in the auctions. I will be bringing plenty of cool fish and poret foam back for the people who can't make it. If I get lucky like last year I'll have a ton of holey rock too. |

Ok I totally didn't read all of that. Still had my mind on my lost rusty. It's got me torn up. Unfortunately I won't be able to go, as I have a wedding do to on Autust 1. I'm bummed.

I think I am definately going to try to go this year. I wanted to last year but couldn't. Anyone else going for sure? I think I'm going to try to go up Thursday night if possible but Friday night at the lates if can't get off work. There are several talks I want to attend and wanted to go on the aquarium trip.

We were definitely going but now that's been squashed. Dennis agreed to move his daughter to Texas at that time.

JD- I will be up there Sat.- Mon. I normally don't go to the workshops, but I do go to the auction. I will do the aquarium, just not in the group.

Are you taking some tanks to keep what you buy in? I wondered what I need to bring. I plan on leaving right after the auction. Do I need to bring a couple of 10g tanks and some cycled sponge filters? I was just going to bring some bags and my O2 tank incase I needed to fill some bags for the drive home.

I am not bringing anything. If you have that, it would be good, because a lot of my fish died from the stress of being in bags for so long. I will be leaving after the auction too, but if I don't buy anything I will stay until Mon. If you have the o2 tank you will be fine, and I will be bumming off of you. I will call you beforehand.

No problem. I have a smallish O2 tank that isn't much trouble to drag around.
