If I get large shipments in, especially if they come from many different sources, I treat everything twice with clout. This has made my survival rate go up by a ton. If I get in small shipments, I quarantine and treat as needed.

The ACA convention is in Milwaukee next year isn't it? Just a ride across the pond on the ferry for me. I'll have to go, sounds like fun. Expensive fun, but fun.

I might be there, I haven't decided. I might go to some closer regional club conventions instead.

The Ohio show is supposed to be very good. I've never been, but several of mine friends have gone and love it.

To far off to know if I'm going to make it or not. I plan on trying though. It would be about a 9hr drive which is doable.

Regional club conventions sounds good! If you don't mind, share the where and whens. Would be easier than going north. Was it Milwaukee or Minnesota(I'm assuming Minneapolis)? I thought both were discussed.

Milwaukee.
Ohio's cichlid convention is supposed to be one of the best. I don't know of any other states in our area that have a state cichlid show. There may be some, but I've not heard of them. Lots of state/city auctions/swaps, etc. Some better than others. Chicago being the obvious one in my area.
