There's still one 55 G with the chocolateys in it that I forgot to take a pic of, and 4 10 gallons I won't bother taking pics of. Will get to the chocolateys tomorrow and add. And yes there's algae here and there. It didn't come off with the normal wiping. Maybe get to the scraping it off tomorrow. Anyone know if using a razor blade inside a tank will hurt the fish?

Didn't realize (I was tired) the grandson had peeled the backing off the corner of the African 125 again. Here's a couple new shots with it fixed.

Thanks David. It takes so dang long to upload them and paste the links--about as long as it takes to clean them!

Very, very impressive, Tina. I think we can all relate to how much work it takes to set up and maintain that many tanks. I, for one, would gladly do it if I had the room. You and Dennis have quite the setup now with so many beautiful varieties of fish. I think it adds a lot to the enjoyment of the hobby when you don't limit yourself to a particular variety of fish. When I first got into the hobby about 20 or so years ago, I wouldn't consider anything but an African cichlid. After being out of the hobby or a couple of decades and coming back to it last spring, I still lean heavily toward Africans, but I find that one of my favorite tanks is a simple little 29-gallon community tank of tetras, angel fish and cories in the living room, which my mother has commandeered. Just out of curiousity, not counting the impressive array of beta bowls, how many tanks are you guys running now?
EDIT: Ha. I posted this three minutes after you posted the above message. I almost asked you about the pics but didn't want to be a nuisance since you were busy with other pics. No hurry. I'm just curious about the setup. If I ever have a fish room, I will probably consider something like you have.

OB Firefish are now in a 55G with their seasoned filters and toys and the 30 H they were in is now housing some more growouts. It needs to settle and have another cleaning. Too much moving around in there today. Fishme, I think we have 30 tanks running. I have to count again since the adjustments but if it's not 30 it's 29. It's no more than 30. We're about to clean out the smaller room that's just off to the left of this room and make another fish room. We need a few more tanks running since I can't stop wanting almost every cichlid on earth! It's I think a 10 X 10 room and we'll be ordering a larger pump for the big room and put this pump in the smaller room. Think I have to call u FishMike. We have a few Mikes here! haha
