I think I'm overwhelmed! That's a very impressive room you have going! I especially like the tank w/ the decorative ruins. Now I'm itching to setup my unused 29 and 10 gallon tanks!

That's my 125 which is upstairs. That's my favorite setup too but the ones downstairs are more functional than fashionable. The ruins remind me of my visits to Italy and I have shells in the substrate I collected from the Mediterranean while in Spain so it's my "meaningful" tank. I just started fishkeeping this year. I mean besides the token fish tank with this or that in it through the years. Let it be a warning. It's addictive!

They're incredible! I have about 75 of them but tomorrow I'll have none. I'm giving them all to a community Christmas Camp for kids who won't be having much of a Christmas. But they've got a lot of personality and they're low maintenance. Get some!

I have read not to buy from pet stores. Any suggestion on where to get them from? And that is fantastic that you are giving them to the children! That will be special for them.

The gift is in the name of Music City Aquarium Society so they'll know where to come for more about the hobby too. I'd ask SirKnight if I were you. He's been quite high on the show betta circuit and taught me everything I know about them. He just might know someone close by to get some from. You'd probably want to have something extra special anyway, and you can't really get those in pet stores. If I didn't promise these out already I'd have you covered, but kids need to have Christmas no matter how bad the year is, and it really stinks that no one else gave anything to this charity for these kids. We have a reputation as Americans of pulling together when things get tough and I just don't see it as much right now.

That is no problem at all. The kids need them more than me anyways. I am glad that you were willing and able to give the charity a gift. it is a shame and sad that no one else gave. I am glad that you found thse charity, I am sure the gift will mean a lot to them! And plus they are beautiful fish!! Thank you for your information and help. Now to finish talking my husband into it I know he won't mind though.
