This is my beta male from the colony of Xenotilapia Melanogenys. The alpha WC is currently out of the tank for treatment, so the beta has been trying to impress all the ladies!

Jon, Yeah, this pic was taken with the wife's camera. She hooked up the stick reader and showed me how to get a clue! I will post some pics of the WC male once he takes the colony over. The F1 male in the picture is building a breeding pit right now, so I might wait a few days to see what happens. Do you believe that both the alpha and beta in the tank at the same time would better the chances for a successful spawn?
