I have a 6 ft 125 gal tank that is 28 yrs. old. It was made by a company called Odell. It has never been resealed and been the home of my fronts all this time! Any older than this?

I bought a 90g tank from Reagan that has to be his first tank as a kid.

Both have me beat . My 90 has been passed around for about 15 years now. I've had it now for about 4years and the 55 about 8. When I was about 7 or 8 I had a slate bottom SS trim 10gal my father had when he was a kid. Guess that would be my first one.

I don't know how to tell how old they are but I'm betting my oldest tank is the 125 upstairs. It has the most 70's looking trim!

She'd only kill you for a few minutes. It's good for your career plans to have a big tank!

She'd only kill you a little. Moms don't do the BIG kill on their sons. If you're gonna be in veterinary medicine and you have fish it only makes sense to give them a big habitat and set a good example right? And anyway, you could say you're trying to mimic their natural environment so you can do research and write a paper on it! Fish naturally live in BIG spaces.

Good point never thought of that. I have always thought that i wanted a huge fish tank either in my house or at my vet clinic. Huge- 500 plus gallon. Basically have one lake diverse species being shown. I would be in heaven if i could get that

My first tank was a metal framed, slate bottom tank. I wish I still had it, cool tank.
The oldest tank that's been in my possession and running is my 300 that's in my office. It's been set up and going strong for 20+ years. I'm sure I have a tank or two that are older, but I haven't owned them since new and have no way to know their age.

I've got a 29 my grandmother has had since the 70s. It's never need re-sealing, either.
