The Salvini I have seam to get big. The are around 2 and the make is over 7". They have week old fry now. Ken Davis from fish farm was up a couple of months ago and go a large spawn. I meet with ken ever 30 days or so I you ever want to save on shipping and I will pick fish up for you guys.

They are very nice fish but just be ready for trouble as it grows. Sometimes they do fine with other cichlids, but in a smallish tank it is probably going to start looking at the oscar as the first elimination. Apparently this fish has the internet. The day after you posted this, he tore into the oscar. I didn't see it happening until I noticed the oscar hiding and when I looked closer, his fins were a mess and he had been chewed on a bit. Luckily, I was able to get him out of there and he seems no worse for wear. |
