Most of you may have changed to the new "Test" skin and found some parts of it a little hard to read or hard on your eyes. While trying to keep that in mind, I've modified the "Test" skin to mostly use various shades of grey. However, some parts of the board will get lost in the background when you hover your mouse over it. This is mainly when hovering over links.
Also, each person will see the theme differently because not all computer displays are created (and configured) equally. Some may have high resolutions with vibrant coloration, while others may not be as bright as the one being used to create the skin.
There also comes the factor of each individual's eyes. Some are more sensitive to various shades and different colors than others.
All of these factors makes it rather hard to develop a "perfect" color scheme for everyone.
To change the current theme that you see, click on "Profile" at the top of the board, then "Modify Profile". About half way down the list, you'll find "Select Skin". Make your selection from the drop-down list and click the "Modify Profile" button at the bottom. Then click "Home" at the top of the screen again to see the change. If the selected skin is rough for you, please change it back to "Default".
Not being a very creative person, I need a little help with developing various, pleasant skins for all to enjoy. Let the fun begin!

Tried playing with blues and reds for the links in the "Test" skin, but decided to keep all text white for now just to be safe. Here's a link to the color chart that is used in web/forum development: www.2createawebsite.com/build/hex-color-chart-grid.html[/u] As you can see, it's quite complicated to find colors that fit with each other without testing different ones.

I agree it is tough, I messed around with it in the beginning, but found I didn't know what went with what, so I just left it. I like this one pretty good, but you can keep messing with it if you want.
