Jon:
Is there a way to be notified when a thread you've been involved in, has a new post, like on some of the other forums I've seen in the past? Either via email, or some other way? Even if there was a way to bring up a list when you first open the message board or something? There may be, and I just haven't found it. I know there's a way to see a given number of the most recent posts you've made, but this may be as close as we can get. And sorry if this has been discussed before.

I just did some reading, and yes there is. If you bookmark the thread, which is just above the thread author, then go to profile at the top. Choose bookmarks, then on the top right choose manage bookmarks, you can choose to be notified. In the dropdown, choose email. That simple! Thanks for asking twice. I wouldn't have looked if it wasn't bumped.

I also think there is a place where you can see your last 10 post. If you click on your name, it should be at the bottom of the screen.

Yes and the last 10 posts of anyone else. Or you can change that 10 to any other number.
