Does anyone have any cool sharks? What if any kinds will tolerate cichilids? I'm also interested in red belly pacus and piranhas.

I have one red-tailed shark and although he's cool looking and supposedly would go ok with some South Americans I'd never risk it. He's a bully. It's cute how he pounds the two pictus he lives with night and day but I don't trust the theory that he'd so ok with cichlids. He's got an attitude and the cichlids wouldn't want one coz they have one of their own.

What type of cichlids? Red tail sharks will go with africans. Synodontis are just as close to a shark in my opinion than all the so called "freshwater" sharks, if you have a 200g tank or bigger the african tiger fish is probably the coolest. If you have a smaller tank and it is SA, I would just get a jaguar cichlid and call it a day.
