What is the life span for silver dollars? What do they like to eat?

They live 10 years or more. But they're not a Malawi fish. They're a characidae which is a relative to the piranha, and come from South America. They like a vegetable food, so spirulina flakes or pellets would seem like the good choice, but they eat tropical fish flakes. I'd think treat it like the African mbuna or the tropheus and don't give too many meaty things. Maybe an occasional brine shrimp or small worm.

Now I have a q about silver dollars! I traded some New Worlds for some community fish, and 4 silver dollars and a black shark were among them. I've gotten some big fish that are only going to get bigger! For now I've got those with the angelfish and they're doing fine, but I'd like to get them out of there eventually. Who could I put them with? Do they do well with any cichlids other than angels? The red devil has gone to a new home, along with one of the 4 green terrors we had, one blood parrot, one firemouth, and two red jewels. They went to live in a 180 gallon tank--lucky them! In trade, we got the 4 silver dollars, the black shark, two giant danios, a pearl gourami, a chinese algae eater, a big plain pleco, and a rainbow shark. I may have missed one but I think that's all. The family that got the cichlids has a 2 year old who immediately named the red devil George. Cute!

I've got a pair of Red Hooks that just LOVE the alge discs. Funny to watch! They grab them in their mouth - flip them up like turning a pancake - catch it and take another bite! Soooo funny! Give it a try. You'll be laughing too!

I have two in my community tank and they love the algea wafers too! They grab them in their mouths and try their best not to lose it to the others...lol. They are fun to watch, but no live plants cause they will eat them down to nothing!

I still don't know what my possibilities are for putting them with any of the cichlids.

Angel, mine are in a tank with some Orangeheads, a Red Empress, a BP, the seven stripes I got from Jon/Mark I got at the swap, and some Angels. When the angels I just got from Ken (river11) get big enough; they will go in there too. All are getting along happily (for now). No problems. I think there is even a peacock in there. I know I shouldn't be mixing all these fish(maybe) but I don't have another tank or two yet. Putting a new roof on house. We'll see what my options are after! Mark if you read this the cyps are happy in my 33 cube by themselves! Don't wanna risk them in any way, shape, or form! Did you feed them the discs yet?

I don’t want to marry or date with usual girls. I find them too boring and annoying. I think the best way to have fun with girls is to call escort girls in Antwerp escortsiteantwerp.com
