mailing is pretty easy, the bristle nose ship really well, but it would not be cost effective to only ship a few.

I have a styrofoam shipping box laying around, if you need it, plecoman. (Maybe) add a heat pack wrapped in paper towels, and you're set!

Well the rookie male has done his job! Besides kicking a few eggs out during the last 4 day, he has fanned them like a pro. This morning they are starting to hatch also, so he did the other part of his job as well! At least it seems that way for now. Their are a pile of eggs that have not hatched yet. If all went well they should all be hatched by tonight.

I hope a decent number hatch, and considering your amount of plecos on hand, I hope a decent amount are infertile too! Good morning Drew!

Good morning Angel. We'll know soon enough. Usually all of the eggs hatched with the original male. By this one being a rookie, it's a wait and see game. The eggs all look that pretty orange color though, so that's a good sign. But yes, if they all hatch, I'll be back at square one again. Too many pleco's!

We had a very successful hatch today! They were all hatched about 30 min. after I first looked at the eggs. I was shocked. I wish I had stood there to watch it take place. The rookie male is a keeper! I found only a couple of eggs that didn't hatch. He had swept them out of the tube pretty quick. My guess is at least another 150 to 200 baby ABN pleco's.

Thanks Jeremy! I'm going today to check out a new 75 gallon that I can grow them out in. I'm not sure where I will put it, if I get it, but we'll stick it somewhere! LOL....
