So I went to Fishtail's house today and got a few of her plants which are growing VERY nicely, to put in this 10 gallon we're keeping three guppies and two black skirt tetras in. The tetras are going downstairs to the 55 community tank eventually. Just haven't got there yet. Fishtail has more of these plants, and two pairs of neon swords to rehome. The deal on the swords is really great! And the plants are super healthy. Get over there and get some! Thanks Fishtail!

Once you remove the blackskirts you are going to end up with a tank stuffed with guppies ;D. The babies will love all the plants to hide in plus lots of little food for them to eat lives in those plants.

I figure we'll let em breed for a little while and then start culling all the offspring when we about get overrun. Guppies are good fish food. Even if I hate that idea. These are the grandsons' fish. I got the orange one for free and bought the two ladies for him.

Since they bear fry monthly, I'd think some should be available pretty much all the time if you can get to the breeder.

Thanks. I'm too far away to just run in and check all the time, though I'd love to . We only go when we're buying or selling.

That's ok they're not the ones I want. I want the moscow blues. Hope they get them in again.

Thanks! I was there on Friday but none. I did get a powder blue gourami and an elephant nose.

Where did you get the weight that you are using for your plants? Didn't you tell me that it wasn't lead?

I got them from Franklin Aquarium and I said I didn't think it was lead. But it apparently is.

I've had it in there all this time and no ill effects at all. And it seems the same as used to make sinkers so I'd think it has to be safe.
