Very cool shots. I hadn't heard of Oil-dry before. I'm assuming it is good for plants?

Pretty tanks. Be warned that the siamese alge eaters (I believe those are also sometimes sold under the name flying fox) get pretty aggressive as they get bigger. I had a couple in a 72g planted tank for a while and they alway would fight once they reached adult size. Plus they ate every drop of food put in there and didn't touch any algea so I eventually got rid of them. They are very active though and nice looking. The 29g need a trio of apristogramma . They are small, colorful, and in high demand if you can get them to spawn. They can be difficult to keep though. A herotilapia multisinosa pair would also be another good option. They would be more likely to dig though.

All very nice looking tanks. Were did you get the convict/jewel hybrid? Hard to tell from the picture but I would have said female jack dempsey at first glance.
I definately had flying foxes. It was probably 10 years ago but remember them well. They were little SOB's for sure.

A better picture will definately help. Looks like a female jack to me though.

Okay, here's the best pic I could get: That's definately a jack dempsey. I can't see it's lower jaw well enough to say what sex it is. Nice angels!!!! River11 breeds some nice ones. I have been impressed with every fish I have seen from him.

Great tanks and very nice pics, bunnie. I'm a great admirer of planted tanks, probably more so since I've never had any luck with them. Haven't tried in years, but the minute I planted them they were doomed...lol

Love your aquascapes! When I get home, I need to do some rearranging in the 55. I'm just not quite satisfied with my quick planting. Plus the diamonds will only swim close to the front glass, hardly ever behind the driftwood or amidst the plants. I briefly read an article in TFH about Diamond tetras. One snippet mentioned that they don't prefer tall plants, which may be my problem. Hopefully, a quick trimming and re-scape will help with that.

PS Jeremy - I'm never quite satisfied, except for a couple weeks, then I'm all about, how can I make this better? What plant would look better here... ect... I can see that happening to me. Just looking at contest and Takashi Amano 'scapes is breathtaking!
