You can keep them together. Although a 29g might be a little small for an adult angel pair. It's probably doable but once the angels get full grown you might need to move them to your 75g.

The Cacatuoides are by far the most durable of the apisto's and are one of the only ones that do well in our tap water.

I think you might find that you like the angels enough to move the cardinals to a different tank .
