Finally was able to get a few pictures this morning while working on some water changes. Now the hard part is spending the 3 months trying to upload them. I swear I'm the last person on the planet that doesn't have hi-speed internet available. I still have several thiungs left to finish up in the room but everything is in and running. The room includes 1 125g 1 90g 1 75g 1 72g 2 50g 2 40g 2 30g 2 20g longs 9 20g highs 6 10g 1 600g pond It's amazing how much different fish act in a large water setting. All of the fish in the pond (about 600g) are always extremely calm and peaceful. I have several fish that are decently agressive in with fish that would be considered very peaceful with zero aggression. They just all hang out and do there thing. Sorry about the poor quality pictures. I have so much light in there that everything glares and it's difficult to get any decent pictures of the fish. I need an external flash or just need to have someone with a good setup come over and take some pictures for me. Also, sorry about the large sizes. My internet is so slow it locks up everytime I try to resize them. So please forgive me if my large pictures cause the page to load slow for you. Anyway, here's how I spend a lot of my time. After a long day at work it's aways nice to come home and look for new spawns or just pittle around. There's got to be something wrong with a person that finds water changes relaxing . 5'X7' pond

Very nice JD. Isn't it amazing how many tank you can fit in a small space. I like the pond, give the fish a completely different look, the the Geo, with the red hump.

Of course I'm overly fond of the Madagascar. And is that a HRP in there too?

A couple of my favorite fish Herichthys Carpintis "Escondido" male. This guy is turning into a real bruiser. Still not even full grown and he has one terrible mean streak. Far from the most aggressive fish in the world but he has made me bleed several times Female Fry

Very nice JD. Isn't it amazing how many tank you can fit in a small space. I like the pond, give the fish a completely different look, the the Geo, with the red hump. Joe Thanks Joe. It is amazing what you can cram in. I already had 2 racks inside that I used that were 3 high or I would have built them 4 high and had even more tanks. I still have room for one for rack if I ever feel like I need more tanks. I think I'm good though. This keeps me more then busy. The fish you are talking about is a Geophagus tapajos orangehead. It is the male from a pair of titansfever83's fish that will be going to another member (peathenster) in March when I head down to Atlanta. I'm really digging the pond, the fish act totally different and you can still see them surprisingly well. You don't get to see them in there full color but it gives me an easy to care for way to raise growouts and hold large fish inbetween breedings. That way I don't have to tie up a large tank for one pair of fish. I generally move things in and out of the 125g. Breed them then move them back to the pond and let them recondition for another spawn.

I still have 2 extra males for sale. They get a lot bluer as they mature and bulk up. They are nice little fish and not real aggressive for a CA cichlid.

Cool if you have them still at the next swap I'll probably want one. If I have someone to put him with of course. But you can help me pick a good match!

Very cool setup. What is the size of the room again? Are you using a dehumidifier?

I'm running a 50pint dehumidifier. It does an excellent job. They are expensive but without it the walls would be sweating and it would be unbearable in there. The dhumidifier keeps it at a nice comfortable 45% humidity.

I purely can't wait til we can turn off the dehumid. It makes the lights blink! Everything we saved in power on the linear system and then some went right out the window with that dinosaur.
