Well this morning when I turned on the lights to my fish tanks I noticed that my sleeper goby was no where to be seen. I got in there and turned all the rocks and a cray was missing too. There is no way anything can get out of that tank it is fully covered. After looking closer at my sculpin I figured it out. I think he had a fish and crayfish dinner. His belly is so huge he rocks on it when he is laying on the gravel. As you can see in the picture he is fat as a pig!!!! Attachments:

Not cool that he ate em, but it's funny in a way! He's chubby!

I knew that about them when I first caught him. And might I add he does have a large mouth. I just figured that they had been tankmates for a while and all seemed to be ok. I kept him fed with the ghost shrimp but I think he has just told me he wants bigger food. So I will buy him some feeders probably rosies as gups are too small for sure. He is still fat as a pig today so I don't think he will be needing any food for a couple of days. The crays are just going to have to tough it out with the sculpin. I heard that they like crayfish too and that didn't bother me until I started to hand feed the ones I have and have gotten a little attached to them. The crays will crawl up into my hand and take food from me now. They are just too cute. Anyways now that I have gotten over it and my family has laughed at the fat little piggie I see the humor in it.

Ive had sculpins eat tons of darters.. I had a marbled sleeper goby that would do that. only thing was he was about 14" long so he ate really big expensive fish. There for dont have him anymore. That was years ago. Rookie mistake.
