Here's the home for the mobas. They're not in it yet--I need for the Ph to come up a little yet. We just set it up tonight in the living room where the 125 with the not-really-stands stands was. Hoping something magical happens with the Ph overnight. It's at 7.7 right now. Attachments:

7.8. Not a huge jump, but it did drop to 7.4 in the hours after it was set up so at least it's climbing back up. The salts must be at work.

Thanks. Your rocks look great in it. But I don't know that I won't need more--I really like them.

You could maybe do a few more, but fronts like open water, so I wouldn't over do it. And from experience, it makes it harder to clean.

Then I'll leave it as is. I'm already gonna have to have a stepstool to clean this tank, not to mention moving the rocks. But it looks so blue and white!

Wow ! Looks wonderful ! The black gravel and white rocks and the color of the fish really accent the living room. Nice ! Hope you enjoy it ! Thanks for sharing the pic's with us.

Thanks Tony Things are doing well in there. I was kind of mad at myself yesterday at cleaning time. Before getting the gravel we bought a few bags of black sand, thinking we'd try it in there. It's so lightweight though that I changed directions and got the gravel, but had already put sand in there. So there's a mix of gravel and black sand. Cleaning time comes, you HAVE to put the siphon in the gravel to get the dirt out and out comes the sand to clog up the siphon over and over. Live and learn.

They make an attachment for the siphon that reduces the sand coming out. I have the black diamond blasting grit in my African tank and it's very lightwieght, but the fish keep it turned over, so I've never had a problem in that tank so I haven't tried the attachment. In another tank I've had that problem though. I just try to let the sand into the siphon slowly and drain it outside so it's always going downward.

I have the attachment too but I don't like the performance with it on. It's pretty much gonna be the case here as well--eventually all the sand will be gone.
