Have we got any members who are or have been accountants, or tax advisors? We need some paperwork filled out correctly for our non-profit and tax-exempt status. If we have any members with experience in this particular task we would greatly appreciate your help. Thanks!

I am a new accountant with Hazlett, Lewis, and Bieter PLLC in Chattanooga, TN that graduated with my Masters in Accountancy last December. However, I have 0 experience in this kind of thing, but I have been approved by my manager to help out with this project on the clock as a public service. I have lots of resources to do it from people to literature here, but as I said, it is something I have no experience nor education on so I would be learning as I go.
Also, I will be attending a meeting with the Atlanta Area Aquarium Association this Sunday. It probably be wise to request a copy of their articles of incorporation, and by laws to make it easier when it comes to writing them. I could also ask who helped organize their club and see if I can get copies of their IRS filings to use as an example template.
But anyways, if there's something you'd like me to help with, let me know.

How WONDERFUL!!
We do have bylaws written, and followed a plan from another club on that one--I think Chicago. Anyway, we haven't a clue where to go with the forms for the tax exempt status so you are a blessing! And that is so great of your boss!!
