I have had tropheus moliro for more than a year now, and they're so cute. But they've never spawned. Tonight I moved them upstairs into a 75G hoping the bit of extra room and change of scenery would trigger a spawn. After the move I was taking pics, and discovered they spawned before I ever moved them! WOOHOO!!!! Attachments:

congrats Tina. Get pics when you can. I know my fish always seem to spawn after I have just about given up on it happening.

I just can't find the words to say how excited I am over this! I'm gonna see tropheus babies!! I have no idea how long she's been holding or if I should pull her or leave her alone at this point, but I have a nursery cleaned and ready.

She's in a net breeder now. She had eggs, but still was eating. Now that she's in the net she won't eat--just sulks. But I guess she'll get over it.

They're still eggs. How long do they take to hatch?
