Got these today from George's and my new friend Vincent. We traded a pair of plecos and a powder blue gourami for two of these and a couple of catfish, which need identified! Will post in the proper CATegory.  These are HUGE! Cool looking fish. |

Hi Tina. I've been busy with work and taking care of my mom. She's doing pretty well. I've been in a bit of a lull with my fish. Since I murdered all those beautiful fish I got from Jon with a faulty heater, I haven't replaced them. Thankfully, at least my favorite fish of that group, the Oblique you see in my signature pic, is the one that survived. I have him in a 55 with three big tinfoil barbs to give him something to pester. Still have the 75 set up for my mom to enjoy with rainbows, gourami and tetras. Also have a 29 community tank in the living room for her to watch along with her soap operas..lol. Never got the 125 I was squawking about last fall, but it's not out of the question. I have two 30s and two 45s that are empty right now. Just waiting for inspiration to hit.
You were talking about cutting back on some tanks a few months ago. How did that finally go? Sounded like you didn't really want to do it.

I think no one ever wants to do it but I was overwhelmed. I've got less tanks running now, but don't see starting all of them back up anytime soon. Still so much to do. And work has slowed down so much I can't really be spending extra on electric and such anyway. I'm thinking of another cutback, I've got too many of several kinds of fish and the swap is coming so I can lighten up if anyone is interested in some of them.
I have 4 of the obliques. They're gorgeous. I have them in the living room.
Happy to hear your mom's doing well, and enjoying two of your tanks!
