The abino red oscar is free to a good home if anyone wants it. It was given to me and I don't need to keep it.

WOW, a few of those might out grow the 220? Eventually I will probably need to dedicate my pond to them or upgrade tanks. I might end up upgrading to a 8'X3'X2.5 as a permenant home. I'm not sure yet. I'll be OK for at least another year. The catfish doesn't have a known adult size so we will just have to see on him. I'm hoping he stop growing around 2' but no one knows for sure. With my filtration I could probably keep the 2 bass, aro, and catfish in there but time will tell. I've always got the 600g pond if I need it but I'd really prefer to display these fish.

How much do the peacock bass eat? I had three that would eat 100 feeder goldfish per week. Between the bass, arowana, and tiger shovelnose, you must be shoveling the food into the tank! And I am sure the oscars are not afraid of the chow bell.

And I am sure the oscars are not afraid of the chow bell. I feed the pbass my cull cichlids or anything that I have an overflow of. They will eat market shrimp and fish fillet chunks as well. Everything else eats pellets only. My filtration is a FX5 and a sump made for a 400g tank on it with a 1600g/hr pump. I do a 75% water change every week.

The catfish is a LEI X TSN so its a hybrid. TSN get about 3-4", the LEI's get around 30". Most hybrids don't get as big as either of the parents but there is just know way to know for sure until it's grown. I'll just upgrade as needed or dedicate my pond to them. It really is a cool catfish.
I only use the bio media in my FX5, no mechanical filtration. It has the filter pads and is stuffed with cyramic (spelling) rings for bacteria. FX5's are by far the best canister filter on the market for larger tanks. They are a pain to clean but filter better then anything else.
