These guys spawned again and I just ignored it as I figured they would just eat them again. Well the eggs were gone this morning so I said I hope you guys got your fill. What a surprise I had a few minutes ago when I saw this. There must be at least 100 wrigglers and the mom isn't too dumb either. She has moved them to a plant that has water movement from the airstone. I am keeping my fingers crossed. With surgery coming up tuesday they will have to take care of their brood but they are the only ones in the tank.

Thank you Mark, I have to admit this surgery has me scared but if I can get something good out of it I gotta try. I will make sure I let everyone know how I am as soon as I am able to. I wonder if Centennial has wifi?

They should! I hope they do! You have sponge filtration in this tank right? There should be some food on the sponge for them. If not, and no one gives them anything, they'll chew on the parents' sides. So backup plan, educate someone in the house on baby food.

I go to a couple of different places. www.bayleesfishees.com/hobby.htm'I bought 30 sponge filters from him years ago. I still have them and in tanks that are bigger I can double them up. I use them in almost all of my tanks. WHat size tank are you needing them for? I also buy them for larger tanks on aquabid. I cannot find the seller I usaully use but here is a seller that has bigger sizes www.aquabid.com/cgi-bin/auction/auction.cgi?filteration&1289808902Also all of the tanks I have that still have HOB filters I have sponge in them. Poret sponge in my opinion is the best. And I have a sponge filter on the intake so no fry get sucked up. I am thinking of sending an order in in the next month. I will post and anyone interested can contact me and we can maybe get a discount. Here is their website. www.swisstropicals.com/Poret%20Filter%20Foam.htmlHope this helps. The plus side is I always have an extra sponge filter in all of my tanks so I have never had a new tank really have a big cycle.

Oh and on an other note. I did my water changes (they probably won't be done for 2 weeks now) and within 1/2 hour the other pair of angels are spawning away like there is no tomorrow. And the male has the hang of it this time and is following the female. I might have two big spawns! I just thought it was hilarious when I looked in the tank and there they were laying and fertilizing. LOL

Well woke up this morning and all of their swimmers were gone!!! Little buggers ate them last night at some time. Anyways the wriggles from the other pair are starting to become swimmers. I hope this pair will raise them. We will see.
