Latest pictures of the shrimp I have. I love shrimp, and have 5 tanks just for them. I'd like more, but I think my husband would not be very happy about that! Crystal Red Shrimp "A" Super Tiger Shrimp Red Claw Macro shrimp: Cherry Shrimp Snowball Shrimp Yellow Shrimp

Nice, I like them. Do you breed them? I kept a tank of them and couldn't get them to quit eating each other and I fed them all the time.

The shrimp are pretty cool. I always keep a few in my saltwater tank.

These are all freshwater. They are extremely sensitive to water and water changes. the cherries and yellows are the easiest and can adapt and are fairly hardy when it comes to water condiditons. The CRS are very sensitive and I can't get them to breed for me yet.
The Super tigers are finally breeding but they haven't had their babies yet so I don't know if they will survive. The snowballs have surprised me because they are supposed to be as hardy as their relatives the cherries and yellows, but my batch hasn't been. The adults have been dying off, but their babies are surviving, so I think the seller sent me some older shrimp.
And the red claw macro shrimp are awesome. They get large, about 2 inches for adult males, and will eat out of your hand. They don't like other red claw macro's (unless opposite gender). My kids love feeding them.

tmom, you need the blue ones too! You've got the other colors! There is a blue tiger, but they are way out of my price range. There is a pearl blue shrimp, different species, but from what I've been told they are almost clear and not nearly as stunning as the blue tiger.

Don't you love how you can see eggs in some of them? And know what else I get fascinated with? Wee freshwater crabs. They're funny! And they watch people!
