Guess I should have put my intro here, whoops! Well, at least my first post did have a lot to do with the topic it was posted under.
So, my name is Katie, I'm 20 years old, and live in Smyrna. I've recently become an addict to fish keeping
and definitely have MTS! Looking forward to learning and hopefully contributing to this community and will soon be joining the club.
Currently I have 2 tanks, which I'll list below:
29 Gallon-
8ish Mollies (looking to rehome at least most of these)
1 Female Betta
2 Minnows (fathead and rosy red, soon to be put into different tank)
2 Common Plecos (1 little guy and 1 medium...these will be going into a bigger set up soon)
4 Mystery Snails (1 blue, 1 Ivory, 2 Black)
13 Ghost Shrimp (hoping to add more as I just love these little guys!)
10 Gallon (QT)-
6ish Mollies (looking to rehome these once I get rid of the ich)
10 Minnows (fatheads and rosy reds)
Darn pond snails that I'm trying to get rid of...
Neither tanks are planted yet (well, not technically but I do have some house plants in the filters that I'm trying to root and to help with bioload) but will be heavily planted here soon.
Once I move into a bigger place I will have a 100gal (was told it's 100 but haven't seen it yet) set up along with at least another 10 and maybe a 55 or 75.
Really looking into starting a native tank. Don't know if the 100 will be native, most likely it'll end up either an odd fish tank (Knifefish and Rubber Eels...maybe a cat fish or two and the plecos) or a large community tank (with the plecos). And the 29g will be converted to a native tank.
I also have a cat named Lightbulb that I absolutely adore. Such a goofball.
