Here's my new fish. Every tank needs a fish! I lucked out--this tank is fully cycled. I have yet to learn how to cure and cycle. Attachments:

I have a very similar damsel, in a 12g they will be very territorial.
To cure rock you just turn the lights off and leave it alone until everything balances out.

Does temperature matter ? Specific gravity? Current?

When curing not so much, I think all need to be close, and the higher the temp, I think the faster the cure.

I got the damsel and a royal gramma, and a couple of the snails that stay in the substrate(remind me of narcissus) and another blue legged hermit crab. I'm done with adding swimmy and crawly things to that tank. The gramma I was worried about, but they were together in the same tank and the gramma pushed the damsel around so I'm taking a chance. Pretty colors.

I'll get him at feeding time. He's claimed a rock cave for himself.

Your first pic is of an old frag plug with what appears to be either a montipora or some other encrusting corals skeleton glued to it.

It's ok. The nano is his. He won't move into the big tank. I'm open to trading.

I don't know what those are. I like some star polyps and some zooanthids, but not warmed up to all corals yet. I'll try to find a pic of it.
