Alabama seems really dry when it comes to cichlids... this makes me sad! because when i lived in TX there was people everywhere with them.
I am hoping to start breeding and raising Tang Cichlids.
as of right now i have Cyps, 3 types of shell dwellers, Xenos ,and some lamp Bemba. I ordered all my stock from Reserved stock cichlids out fo NY. My stock is growing as we speak they are all almost breeding size ,just waiting for the females to take the males up on all the fluttering ,and flashing they are doing.
I have 1 150gal in the house ,and 16 33 gal tanks set up in the garage awaiting more fish! just fuounds got low on me settign up the fish room lol. I will add a few images to show you all the start to the fish room.
I hope I can get more people around my area excited about Tangs.

the Garage tanks after i cleaned and put the set up back together. this is only one section of the tanks i have another full section that is not done yet.
The tank set up has a few fish in it now but most of the stock is growing in my 150gal tank in the house. i bought about 80 fish to start the stock.
