Hey, I'm Brent and I live in Franklin, TN. I met George/vladsbtch today when selling my T5 fixture and she mentioned I should check out this site! I'm in the process of getting my 75g tank going after tearing down a 20g I had. Hoping to pick up a breeding pair of Angels from George soon and get going with that.
Anyway, hi!

I think so too! It gives me motivation to get moving on my tank too. It's been sitting under-populated and un-planted for way too long!

Hi, Brent. Welcome to the forum. We have some of the most popular Angel breeders that stop in from time to time too. If you need plants, let me know. I've always got way more than I need.

I'll definitely be needing some more plants soon. George brought me a few yesterday, so that was great, but I'd love to add some more. Hoping to get my filter squared away this weekend. Moving from an Emperor 280 (which will be for sale if someone wants it) to some sort of Eheim.

Ordered a 2128 thermofilter today and picked up the pair of angels from George. Going to work on planting it more heavily and adding some clown loaches and farlowellas to round it out.

I'll bet they like having all of that room to swim around in. They look good in that tank.

Thanks! It's a decent start...
Got some more plants on their way. Found a good deal on a whole package of low light plants and moss...looking forward to getting them in.
I also will be putting in a black background ASAP.

I put up the background and put in the first round of plants. I'll be adding another big bunch of the reedy plants (Sagittaria subulata) next week, along with the Eheim. The angels really enjoy hanging out in the reeds.

WOW, Looking really good! I know they liked the long grass in the back of the tank here. I am very happy that they have a good home. I guess I am not like other breeders. I get too attached to my fish. That is why I am a bit particular about who gets them. LOL. But I can see your are a good daddy.

Hah, thanks! I'm very happy with how the tank is starting to turn out. It's been shabby for a long time, but deciding to get your angels have re-energized me to spruce it up. They certainly seem to be enjoying it!
