Help Section

We have a Disease section, what is it section, and all else section, but would anyone agree that we might need a Help section? It seems this would be an emergency type section that folks can ask for help with all things fish. I don't know, it's just a thought.

That's what disease was intended to be, I believe. To talk about things going wrong and ways to fix things that go wrong. Although in saying that sometimes it's not a disease but an injury. Not sure.

Oh, I didn't realize that's what that section was for. Sometimes newbies don't really know if it's a disease or exactly what it is they're dealing with, they just know they need help...And yes, I'm speaking for myself. I thought a specified "help" section might bring more newbies to the forum. No worries, if it's a dumb idea. Just thought I would let my idea fly.

It was my intent to have the entire forum as a help forum. If you need help with a disease you go to the disease section, if it is a setup - tank setup section, if it is with a particular type of fish put it in that fishes section.

But not a dumb idea, I just needed to clarify.

Thanks for the clarification, Jon. I guess you're right. What about adding a section for "Emergency Help". I have seen other forums with this topic and it seemed to attract quite a bit of conversation. I don't know though. I'm just brainstorming while I type. Thanks for listening to my crazy ideas.

I think the need for this type of section comes from a lack of a number of responses in the forum lately. This is something we need to work on--participation is key to a forum.
