Secretary change

I am regretfully posting here and now that Tina, aka Angel, has requested, as all of the elected officials and board members are aware, to step down from her office as secretary for the MCAA effective immediately. After extensive conversation she has expressed interest in being an active club member and continuing her support of us here, but not holding such an active role, as her business requires more of her time at the present. As the President of MCAA and on behalf of the entire club officers, board members, and general members, we are accepting this resignation, with the admiration, respect, and honor of one of our founders who has spent countless hours talking, promoting, and researching our club. She has played a significant role in making our club great and I have confidence with her experience and continued participation, we just cannot lose, no matter what role she plays within our club.

I, Rick Easterly, President of MCAA, have spoken with Jess Puffenbarger, aka Jess_Puff, on this date, 5-11-11, in reference to the possible replacement of the Secretary position recently vacated by Tina Foster, aka Angel. Although she is a relatively new hobbyist, I feel she has much to offer our club, the MCAA. The remaining active Officers of the MCAA have discussed her appointment and all feel that she, Jess, would be a magnificant asset and addition to the staff of the MCAA.
After the said discussion, the offer was extended to her today, and she has accepted the appointment.
She will remain in the said Secretary position the remaining of the time that Tina was to hold, at which time, the fall 2011 elections will be held either at the next swap/meet or on the forum as a poll for the members in good standing to cast their vote.

I feel that we have exciting times that lie ahead for our club and forum users and am thrilled that she has agreed to serve our club in this capicity.

As Rick said, I am relatively new to the hobby but I thoroughly enjoy it! Tina, thank you for your hard work over the last several years; I hope I can uphold the standards that you have set forth. Again, thank you to everyone for this opportunity and I promise not to let anyone down! Now... let's get the word out for more members!
