Rick, if you would be willing to let me borrow it that would be great! I just don't think I will need it more than once or twice. I'd rather spend the $150 on a new tank or something like that. If what I have in my tank is contagious, I'm not so sure it would be a good idea for me to borrow it.

You can borrow it. If what you have is contagious then bleach or something will get rid of it. The filter is cleanable. I'm not to worried. I'll get with you to figure out when we can meet up for you top get it. But................gotta find it first. :-) I'll let ya know when I do. OK

Sounds great! I really appreciate it. My 37 gallon tank is getting pretty bad. It's cloudy, has those white fuzzy things floating around, and is starting to smell. I forgot that I'll be out of town this Saturday.

Bad smell is BAD ! Something is wrong. Dead fish, dieing gravel bed, needs major cleaning or water change, something............ You gotta figure this one out and correct.
I'll try and find the filter tomorrow and let you know when I do, then we'll work out something to see you get it soon.

I know! I don't have any dead fish. (don't know what dieing gravel bed means). It has to do with the white fuzzy things! I have no idea what that crap is but this all happened with my 10 gallon first. The white fuzzy things started to show up, then the water got cloudy, then the smell, and then the white fuzzy things REALLY took over! I need to get the new tank I just bought from Tina up and running to I can move my fish and disinfect the tank. I just don't know what to do because I think it's just spreading from one tank to the next. It would suck to have to break down all tanks and start over.
