I stopped by Jons this evening to pick up some fish I ordered and he delivered as always. I got some great madagascar cichlids. He had some great looking africans and lots of new stuff.

It was great to have you stop by for a little while. I just finished acclimating about 20 min ago. It got a little hot, I think I will have to get a window unit.

It is more for me than fish. With water changes, water hasn't gone over 80 while the room stays between 82 and 86. If the water temp ever does go over like 82 then there will be a unit up and running that day.
The way or water bill works, it is cheaper for us to just do more water changes. We get the majority of the price in the 1st 3000 gallons that my parents already use. Then it gets prorated down from there.
First 3,000 gallons 30.07 30.07 0 Next 2,000 gallons 10.40 per 1,000 gal 10.71 3.00% Next 5,000 gallons 6.43 per 1,000 gal 6.62 3.00% Next 490,000 gallons 5.40 per 1,000 gal 5.56 3.00% All Over 500,000 gallons 3.03 per 1,000 gal 3.12 3.00%
(3% increase on usage above minimum)

What's the roof made of? This might sound crazy, but during my first marriage I lived in a mobile home and was prohibited from running the A/C(yes a bit of a tyrant). But when it got unbearably hot, the same tyrant would put a garden hose on the roof and spray it down for a while. It did cool the house down a few degrees. Every little bit helps. Those are metal roofs though. I don't know if it would have the same effect on shingles.

Roof is shingles, and if it gets hot enough, I just might be out there spraying it off.
You are welcome to come by any time, it should only be about 6 miles east of your dad on the main highway (Lebanon Rd)
