I tried posting this once and it never showed up, but while surfing the web last night and talking to a hobbiest friend of mine we found some info on these and was wondering how new to the hobby these are. We only found a handfull of people selling these and mainly on aquabid and was pretty pricey for some pairs. The rest of the places were being shipped to the states from Thailand. My questions are how new are these if new at all, does anyone have any and could give me some more information on these and if nobody has them and if I buy some to breed, which im probably going to do anyways so I can learn more, would some of you be interested in them? If these are something new I would be more then willing to dump some money into this project if it helps to get these awsome fish distributed in the area. Please let me know your thoughts, ideas or any information. Thank you for reading.

George is doing them and has fry in the tank with the parents. She didn't know they were there. She's no longer on here but is in Nashville. If you wanted to get some locally she'll have them before too long I'd think, since they'll grow up fast.

That's pretty cool. I've never heard of them. I wouldn't mind having some either. Bettas are pretty rough on each other, aren't they? I wonder how keeping a pair works out long term...or if you have to keep them separated if they aren't courting/breeding.

The mouthbrooders are different, I guess. Though I'd still think separating them is generally a good idea.

The pair can live together when not brooding
