Pool filter sand for substrate?? Did you put anything under the sand for support?

Argonite sand to help with pH and no I didnt hear anything about support till after I setup tank and still dont understand it

You'll be ok. Not a ton of weight in there and the aragonite would cushion a falling piece enough. I wouldn't worry over it. I was just curious.

It's that plastic grid stuff you see up in flourescent lights/drop ceilings etc. You just cut it to fit the bottom of the tank and put the substrate on top of it. You can get it at Lowes/home depot in big sheets.

Tank looks great and video is excellent. All cameras get a little blurry as you zoom in and out unless you dropped $1500. You will be fine without the eggcrate. It never hurts, but you are past that point now, and I don't see what you have being a problem. I had about 400 lbs of holey rock in my 125g, and so far no issues. I still have about 150lbs that I move around a lot one being an 85lb piece.
It in theory equally distributes the weight across the entire bottom of aquarium. You just cut it to fit and lay it in the bottom and put substrate on top. Some people use foam sheets too. If you ever change everything out or set up a bigger tank with large rocks it wouldn't be a bad idea.
