I have a few different females holding so today i tried something i have always been nervous to do....stripping. i have a notebook were i record the dates of when i first notice the female holding. So i looked at the book and noticed a had a ps perspicax orange cap that has been holding for 23 days so i decided to try it on her. I was taking a chance since i didnt have an egg tumbler, but i will be buying one in the near future. Well i got extremely lucky and didnt need a tumbler and got 9 fry from this 2-2.5in female. All i can say is what an experience!!!

at 23 days you are aren't going to find eggs in my experience. most africans are ready to spit in about 21.

it will be easier next time you strip. the first time you feel like you are hurting them. after a while you realize you aren't. when you strip make sure you look in her mouth to see that there are no more fry.
it is actually better for some. i have a couple of females that hold forever and ever spit. this occurred before i ever started stripping them.
