What are the fish in pic 1 and 3? Really nice pics! #1 is Aulonocara jacobfreibergi (Hongi Is.) peacock, caught mid yawn #3 is Aulonocara sp. "Stuartgranti Maleri" (Maleri Is.) regal yellow peacock all fish pictured came from Jon, music city cichlids, now riftfish.com

as far as i am concerned, the only thing that matters with fish photography is the ability to control iso, shutter speed, and f-stop. everything else can be obtained with lots of lighting, patience, practice, and luck. you can take excellent pictures with a cheap point and shoot if you can control shutter speed and f-stop. mine are a grainy because i am lazy and substitute patience with high iso speeds. add in more patience and you can eventually get around that as well.
