Glass Cages in Dickson is having their monthly open house this coming Saturday. They have a bunch of custom made tanks that buyers backed out of on sale for 50% off.

There is a chance we are not working! Mark, can you post their address for those of us who need to use Gps to get anywhere?

You need to go to Glass Cages web site. Their home page will have categories listed on the left side. Pictures of tanks will appear in the middle. Check out the the print underneath the tank picture for driving directions (I think the writing is blue colored). Click on it. They will tell you that a GPS will not get you to their location.

Jess, in my opinon it is worth going to. Some people have had bad experiences with this company - mine have all been positive. He used to have a 400 gl+ tank for sale - do not know if that is what you are after. Brian, got some fish for you over here!

Thanks. Got it. Would be Awesome to have the 470gal. tank! Wish I had a basement. With over 100 tanks to get rid of should be nice!

I had a really bad experience with them. Would never do business with them again. 70+ gallons of water on the floor once was enough for a lifetime.

My take on glass cages... I have had more bad experiences than good. If you want a standard tank go to petstore. If you want something custom that is a dice roll go here. The thing is, if something does happen, you have to fight with them to get replacement, and the small chance that they replace it, you still have to drive an hour to get it.
Just read reviews online and see for yourself. I am going because i need large tanks that are long and short. If i get a discount of 50% then it is worth it even if it does break. I am also going to have a bunch of glass tops with me i am goibg to get him to sand.
They have a 90 day seam warranty that doesnt cover the glass cracking. Most other companies have a 25 year warranty plus you have petsmart or the critter to go through to get warranty. With glass cages it is all how tom feels that day

My take on glasscages.com is ditto to Jon's comments above. Basically no warranty, but great buys can be had there on occassion.

A FRIEND OF MINE BOUGHT A 125 FROM GLASS GAGES AND THE FIRST NITE WITH WATER A SEAM LET LOOSE , SO IN MY BOOK NO MATTER HOW GOOD OF A PRICE IT IS ITS NOT WORTH THE CHANCE OF HAVING ALOT OF WATER IN YOUR HOUSE. I HELPED HIM CLEAN THE MESS UP IT TAKES DAYS TO GET THINGS BACK IN ORDER.
