Will Otocinclus survive in a 72g tang tank with multis, cyps and julis?

In my experience, no. Granted I might have lost them even if it weren't for the multies and leleupi, but lose them I did. Doesn't help that oto's like it soft, and tanganyikans like it hard . -Rick (the armchair aquarist)

I agree with Rck. Can't explain why bristlenose and many other pleco's do well in high PH/hardness water, but for the most part I would not personally be mixing Old World with New World.

I was just asking cause i have some in my 72g right now that have the same water params the tangs will be going in. Was just wondering aggression wise. So that would be a no lol.

I would say no also... lelupie would just eat them i bet LOL multies might not bug them if they stayed away from the breeding ground. but its more the hard ,and soft water issue that might make the bigest problems.
