I cant wait to go pick up a few more fronts. I think im in love with these guys. All the other fish are doing great this morning. Lets see how they enjoy a nice water change. I really wasnt expecting to buy any fronts at all but is there any different i should know about keeping them?

When aquascaping, leave an open area for them to swim.

Fun Fun! Love them tanganyikans. Been debating what to do next, was originally thinking a 75 gallon larger version of what I have now (add gobies and cyprichromis) but I can't help but wonder about a 40br xeno tank...

Rick, did you ever get some multies? I will get you hooked up down the line - I won't forget. Looks like another dozen newbies dashing out the shells right now!

I cant wait for little multis and my colony to start growing. Are multis slow growing?

Mark -- yeah, I came home from the swap meet with 5 multies... hopefully I'll still have all 5 when I get past my ammo-nitrite spike. I saw 4 of them this morning (vs. the 3 I saw last night) so I still have hope that one is just hiding. At least one of them has moved from his (her?) original shell choice to a new shell that's much closer to one of the others... I'm hoping love is in the air (water?).

Multies grow fairly quick. As much water as you change Brian, they will probably be full grown by the end of next week! ;D Are you buffering your water and what PH are you at? Good luck Rick!

I use substrate to buffer my water and have a pH of 8

Do you check your PH often? With massive water changes PH can become an issue. Many people recommend about 25% weekly for this reason.
