This is our African Cichlid tank - 75gallon. Bought off of craigslist Oct. 7th complete with 11 fish (9 mbuna ciclids, alge eater and catfish). I love the fact that the tank was already cycling and ready to enjoy. Never had Cichlids before so we are learning alot. Attachments:

We call this one "Shipwreked Moonshine" ... This is the 10 gallon that came with the 75 gallon as an 'extra'. I might be over doing it on the air stones here - what do you think? I am going to do a 'fishless cycle' on this one - using some bio media from the 75 gallon established tank. Attachments:

This one we call "Mystery Island" ... This one started my addiction. Bought the 16 gallon tank at a yard sale for $10. On Sept 30th - LOL after buying all the stuff to go in it I now have $250 invested. I am doing a 'with fish cycling' - so purchased four zebra danios Oct. 3rd. They are so small I can barely see them, so we I got the Cichlid setup I was so happy to SEE fish - LOL. Attachments:

opps - looks like I posted these 'tank' pics in the wrong section. Moderators if you have a way to move this thread to 'tanks' I'd appreciate it. Sorry!

That would bee a neet tank to put some small shell dwellers in Or maybe some Julies and some Clavus, or Comps =)

I will have to research those glenoweth, thanks for the heads up. As I haven't yet decided what to eventually put in this tank .
As it's only 16 gallons are cichlids an option?
