if it will fit in the mouth of a front they will eventually eat it. especially at night.

brian, after many years of front keeping the ideal front tank is just fronts. i have had peacocks, brichardis, julies, and lots of others in the same tank. it works for a while but eventually they become a snack.

Although I have never kept Front's, they sound like the African version of S.A. Oscars. They will eat anthing they can fit into their mouths. Of course we all know fish eat fish in the wild, so although well feed, fish still eat fish. It's their nature. It's instinct. Sounds like we all tend to agree on this one, huh ?

im learning alot from this also. i will be having 2 tanks of frontosa really soon. i was thinking about putting a few adult male peacocks in their to add some color but by the sound of whats been said here i think im going to do as Rick said and just have fronts in there.
