Took some pics of my to fav peacocks today. These are untouched and have been cropped and I used Macro on my camera. Those who have seen them can attest to their beauty First is my Own strain of Albino Dragons blood peacock. I do have some juvies available and more fry on the way if anyone is interested. I have always kept peacocks with mbuna. The peacocks will usually swim the open waters compared to the mbuna taking up the rocks ect.. Peacocks will build a hide but they dont usually stay there unless there is alot of stress ect.

Will more than 2 species of Peacock in one tank cause one male not to fully color up? Sometimes. It depends on species and size of them usually. Also if there are plenty of females they will usually all color up. However you can regulate who is breeding with who then so its best to just let the fry be spit in the tank as a treat for the others. Also its usually similar or same species that hinder ones coloration. Keep different color peacocks and your usually safe.
