LOL, I've thought about it. They would probably really like them.

In all seriousness. The MTS are nocturnal and you will rarely see them short for a tiny shell here and there poking out of the substrate if they behave anything like they do in my tank. They will stir up the substrate and help clean the tank. Mine don't climb all over the glass and rocks. They just stay in the gravel and come out when the lights are off. I swear by them and make sure they are in each of my tanks. Plus people give them away so its a win win if you get some. They shouldn't cost you anything

AnyTime deco. That pic is a bit deceiving though because the largest snails I have seen in my tank aren't even 3/4 of an inch. Most people call these nuisance because they reproduce so readily but like I said My cichlids keep them under control.

I bought some Asian Assassian snails to control the population of the ramshorn, and they do,a fair job, but have never rid a single tank of them completely. If they eat the MTS I can't tell. Maybe they do but the MTS breed so quickly that the Assassians can't keep up. Then again, I have read that Assassians don't eat MTS, only Ramshorn. Anybody know for sure ?

found a video for size reference but all of mine are way tiny compared to this. I think once they reach a certain size in my tank they get eaten by a fish.

I've never had much of an issue with any snails crawling out of the water. A few may hang out near the water line, but not leave their water enviournment.
