Went to Critter today and talked with Chris. I bought a Perfecto 125 gallon from him several years ago. The plastic trim on the top has separated, and he called Perfecto and is getting them to send me a new tank. That is sweet deal, and my wife can rest easy having a tank without a large metal clamp holding it together.

How terrific is that ? Wow ! This was a sale from years past and the retailer went to bat for the customer ! All of you do realize, I hope, how rare this approach by retailers has become. I AM IMPRESSED !

Yes, I have to give the other back, and heads up, you have to have it on a perfecto stand, and have the numbers from it. It also helps that he trust that I am not BSing him. I didn't have a receipt after so many years, but if he doesn't know you I would save it.

Picked up new tank yesterday. Moved out of bedroom and into living room. Looks awesome, tropheus were all about to croak. They were all laying on their side motionless. I put 90% new water in, put tropheus back in and they acted like nothing ever happened. Took about 4 hours to take down and set back up.

good story!! So often we only hear horror stories about how a manufacturer or store sticks it to their customer. Nice to hear the flip side of things! :-)
