Does anyone have any experience with these backgrounds. I have looked at them on the net and they look great. They are pretty expensive though. Does anybody close by sell them?

Not familiar with them BUT--I had seen vids on YouTube about making these yourself and seems it's a lot cheaper. There's one of them. These guys have other ideas too that are DIY.

Good luck you two. Whatever you decide to do take us some pics of the process and post them. I have cut and siliconed slate to the back of tanks before and it turned out good for pretty cheap. But either way, DIY or prefab- just get creative. Also get some books and look at their natural environment.

Pics will follow when and if I find the time to give it a try. The slate's a great idea too.

When the tank gets ready I guess I'm going to try one of the DIY styrofoam and concrete backgrounds. I've got plenty of styrofoam at work, so everyone keep your fingers crossed. LOL...
