I've heard awful things about Sun Sun....personally, I've done well with my Eheims and my huge Fluval XP. Your choice: buy bad quality stuff frequently, or buy quality stuff from time to time.
Heck, you could build your own cansiter filter using some PVC, some bio balls, and a decent power head or pump. Probably last you for years and years.

I am going with the sun sun /perfecto canister......mostly good reviews on it and some great reviews. I need to to replace my crappy Eheim i have rena xp3 that works great but i am gonna take a hammer to my eheim i have tried to quiet it with new parts but no luck ......

No problems. I run a Eheim 2217 and have no problems to date, but only had it a few years.

Well after 2 weeks of using this filter on my 125 gallon, Its the best canister filter i have ever used....I had a Rena XP3 on it with 2 emperor 400's and thought it did a great job but my tank is even more clear now, which i thought was not possible.....and with the included UV Sterilizer I know its cleaner still....It moves water great and is virtually silent. I'm glad to hear that you like that filter. I've been thinking about buying the Aquatop CF-400UV for my 100 gallon tank. I also like the idea of the built in UV sterilizer that can be turned off and on as needed. The Fish Hub, in Utah, also has great prices on all Aquatop products, when they have them in stock.
