Hey Jon this is just a suggestion and take it for what it's worth...

For those people that don't visit the forum very often and may have their PM's being sent to their personal email, do you think it would be beneficial to send out a PM to everyone reminding them to get their pics in? Is that too much or do you think it would help? Just a suggestion.

And is there a prize for the winner? Even if it's trivial, a little incentive never hurts.

FishGuy--I think that every six months, the six monthly winners go head to head for a prize; I don't think that there are monthly prizes.....except the overwhelming sense of pride you will obtain knowing that you are awesome-er than all others for that month.

....I suppose that when you claim your inevitable victory for a month, as you take some pretty worthy photos, you could take yourself out for dinner, Mr. B-wood, too.

LOL. I'm not counting my unhatched photo chickens just yet, but I'm ever-hopeful. I'm thinking Taco Bell if it happens. We've got a spiffy remodeled one in B-wood now.

There has been monthly prizes. First was a t shirt and last month I think was some fish food

Brian is correct. Jon has been offering small monthly prizes. The grand finally prize is every 6 months @ the Spring and Fall swap/meets when there is a run off vote of the 6 monthly winners from the immediate previous 6 month winners.

I like Taco Bell.

Small bag of food is prize this month as well. When I get low on food and out if tshirts, I will be awarding pats on the back.

I will give today as well if anyone wants to try and get a last minute entry in. Since it is a holiday for a lot, maybe a few more will have time to snap a pic. I have about 5 or 6 entries right now.

Whatever online photo site you use, send me a large file. I will then resize myself. I have made them too small to see detail the last couple months. If you already sent you can resend, or leave as is.
