Long time lurker, first time poster here. Well, not my first post technically but my first official tank post.
This tank has went through several different variations over the past few years but I think I've finally gotten it to the point that I really enjoy right now. I'm in progress of switching over completely to tangs but right now I have quite a mix. I have some yellow labs, a breeding pair of Kribensis, a Zebra Long Pelvic, and a Kenyi. All of those except for the Kribs, I acquired from fuzzylogic.
This past Sunday however, me and fuzzylogic and another friend of mine went to check out Jon's fish. I saw the tangs and loved them right away, so I bought a Lamprologus tretocephalus and a Altolamprologus compressiceps goldhead. I love these guys and think I'm going to switch over completely, just have some rehoming to do.
I recently redid my substrate back over to sand and decided I'm not doing live plants anymore. I added about 110 pounds of rock.
The pics are taken with my phone, I wish I had a nice camera. My fish are also really camera shy sometimes.
This is right after I added the Tret and the Alto. I thought something was still missing.
So I added 40 more pounds of rock and some nice looking plants to give it a little more color. Once again, my fish are a little camera shy.
With all the lights.
The new guys.
Once again I really love my tank now. I'm kinda proud of it. I think it looks a lot better in person or with a better camera.
Just felt like sharing. Feel free to post opinions or suggestions.
